Phil and Bec have been together for 13 years, and have had a great time living in different parts of New Zealand and the world, before coming 'home' to Christchurch.

Phil is a teacher and chooses to ski, tramp and climb in his spare time (thou he would say he doesn't have much of this!) He teaches other kids as well as his own the joys of being in the great outdoors. Kids are likely to get outdoor oriented presents from Santa this year.
At the moment, Holly is more interested in things pink, and hair ties; and Matai hates to be dirty and cold!!

Bec is also a physio, and dabbles in this to keep her hands and brain busy. The kids and the business keep the rest of her busy - and she has discovered that having growing things in the garden can be relaxing as well as time consuming.

For fun, we like to renovate our house. Just for madness we pulled the walls of our house off last winter, and lived without a kitchen for 6 months. This year we are loving having insulated walls, running water, and a source of heating (our lovely log fire).

We don't claim to be super greenies, but we do believe that we can make small differences in our world, and that we need to bring our kids up to see that it is possible to consider those around us, and our environment - without killing off the fun!
